Reading the image is about our reading of narrative structures in images, making presuppositions and informed readings of what is going on in an image through lighting, pose and structure. These animations are based on still images, each reading differently as part of a series. The starting and ending images are the same, however the readings of them can be vastly different depending on the presumption and the narrative that leads up to the final image.

These films are looping, trying to produce different readings each time you see them.
